Austin, Texas -- Apple has announced its plan to host the first ever iTunes Festival on American soil, coinciding with SXSW. Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Zedd, Pitbull, and Keith Urban will perform at the five-day event among others yet to be announced.

The iTunes Festival has been a fixture in London since 2007 with last year's event featuring Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga as headliners of the 30-day festival. Apple will provide a full live stream of the festival's US debut made available through the iTunes store, as it has with each of its previous incarnations.

Running from March 11-15, the festival will take over the Moody Theater, home to the famed Austin City Limits series. Tickets will become available through a lottery for SXSW badge-holders, and winners will be able to bring a plus one assuming the guest also has a badge. All shows will be 18+. The official SXSW iTunes Festival site contains further details on obtaining tickets.

Full Lineup: Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, London Grammar, Pitbull, Zedd, G.R.L., Keith Urban, Willie Nelson, Mickey Guyton, and more to be announced
