Austin, TX -- This week kicks off the music side of the SXSW festival, so today we're looking at the best blogs and sponsors that are holding multiple showcases throughout the week. If you did make it to Texas, don't forget to check our Events Listing page for a full, comprehensive guide to the best parties.

The FADER FORT

Converse and The Fader have teamed up again to bring you a four-day showcase with over fifty artists. The parties will last from the early afternoon into the night with regular acts as well as separate DJ sets. If you're just hearing about this, good luck sneaking in because the RSVP is now closed. Find the daily lineups and sponsors in our Event Listings

Lineup Highlights: Damon Albarn, Rick Ross, Julian Casablancas, Chromeo, Little Dragon

Pitchfork

Everyone's favorite music blog to disagree with is throwing four showcases at SXSW this year, one being for their metal features subsection Show No Mercy at the House of Vans. They've also scheduled two day parties and one official showcase featuring some of the biggest names in indie music right now, so these are definitely not ones to miss. The day parties are free, but the official showcase requires a badge or wristband. Find the daily lineups and sponsors in our Event Listings.

Lineup Highlights: Real Estate, Mark Kozelek, Fucked Up, Future Islands, Speedy Ortiz

Hype Hotel

Hype Machine has brought the Hotel to SXSW yet again to host showcases from ten different music blogs over the course of five days with both day and night parties. The lineup is pretty killer and spans several genres, so it's a good thing that there's still time to RSVP and find the daily lineups and sponsors in our Event Listings.

Lineup Highlights: Against Me!, Tokyo Police Club, CHROMEO, Kelis, Gary Numan, Washed Out

Spotify House

Spotify has put together some pretty nice day parties to check out running from Monday to Friday. You'll have to RSVP using a Spotify account to catch the shows, which mainly stay on the indie rock side of the spectrum. These are known to fill up fast, so try to get there early and check the daily lineups and sponsors in our Event Listings

Lineup Highlights: Real Estate, Warpaint, Future Islands, Phantogram

Third Man Records

TMR has been pretty good with SXSW in the past, first introducing their Rolling Record Store in 2011, which featured parking lot performances from Jack White and Seasick Steve. They're coming back in full force this year, taking over the Museum of Human Achievement for three days for some pretty sick showcases plus a Pop-Up Shop that'll have all the new releases from Third Man and some new trinkets made available only at SXSW. Make sure that you RSVP, and catch the shows starting at noon all three days.

Lineup Highlights: Kelley Stoltz, Protomartyr, The Haden Triplets, Steve Gunn

Brooklyn Vegan

This respected New York music blog is hosting an official showcase as well as three day parties at the end of the SXSW week. This'll be a healthy dose of indie rock, so make sure you RSVP and check the daily lineups and sponsors in our Event Listings.

Lineup Highlights: Against Me!, Little Dragon, The Hold Steady, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Speedy Ortiz

Waterloo Records

Death Match

This four-day event hosted by Converse and Thrasher Magazine will feature a total of eight sets with indoor and outdoor stages featuring some of the must-see acts at SXSW this year.
