Ultra Europe Finds a Home in Croatia

posted by Marjana Jaidi on December 06, 2012

We already know that Croatia is a firmly established music festival destination, and now, Ultra is giving us one more reason to pack our bags. That's right, Ultra is setting up shop in a brand-new destination, with a plan to invest heavily in Croatian tourism over the next five years.

The three-day festival, scheduled for July 12-14, will be held in two parts: the first two days will take place at the Poljud Stadium in Split; on the third day, Ultra will host an exclusive and intimate party at the hotel Amfora Grand Beach Resort on the island of Hvar.

Tickets to the first portion of the festival will be sold exclusively through the Ultra Europe website, starting on 12/12/12 at 12:00pm CET (check the time zone map to find out what time tickets will go on sale in your neck of the woods; note that CET = UTC+1). General admission tickets are priced at 50€, while VIP tickets will set you back 100€.

12/12/12 is also when the festival plans to announce the first phase of the lineup. Even though the lineup has yet to be revealed, early bird tickets (priced at 40€) sold out in less than 10 minutes, so if you want to be a part of this epic inaugural event, be sure to grab your tickets as soon as they go on sale.

Tickets for the festival's third day will be released early next year... we'll keep you updated as new information arises. And if you're headed to Miami for the original Ultra, check our travel guide for the information you need to plan your trip.
