While we're still getting sweaty here on the subways in NYC, summer is technically, and officially, coming to an end after Labor Day Weekend - and with it comes the end of summer festival season.

Many of you are probably welcoming fall with a bang at Bumbershoot, Made in America, Electric Zoo, or North Coast this weekend. But if you weren't able to spend the final summery days at a festival this weekend, don't fret. September still has plenty to offer festival-wise.

Festivals

Immediately after Labor Day starts MusicFestNW, "Portland's largest music festival," that'll take place across multiple venues September 3-8. Joining MFNW that Thursday will be Bestival, Dimensions, and Hopscotch. Over the weekend, Berlin Festival, the second Boston Calling (this year), and LouFest will provide more options for festivalgoers to start September right.

The following week, Croatia's Unknown will have its first run before Riot Fest Chicago, Breakaway Ohio, and the US debut of Laneway kick off over the weekend.

September 20-22 will see the behemoth I Heart Radio festival takeover Las Vegas with chart-topping, radio-dominating acts. Also that weekend, the free (as the name suggests) Virgin Mobile FreeFest as well as the Denver installment of Riot Fest and the Dallas edition of Breakaway will take place.

The last weekend in September has the month's second US debut - TomorrowWorld, the Atlanta-based, sister festival to Tomorrowland. Additionally, Seattle's Decibel, Pop Montreal, and Pygmalion in Illinois will ensure the month ends on as high a note as it began on.

Features and Announcements

In September, you'll find us at Bumbershoot, Berlin Festival, and Decibel - so check back with us after each for coverage and photo galleries. You can also follow us on Instagram to keep up with the events during their respective weekends.

Festival Guides

In September, we'll revamp our guide to Austin's Fun Fun Fun Fest and launch our first round of 2014 guides for SXSW, BPM, and Coachella so you can begin planning for your next vacation.

We'll also have our eyes on CMJ this month as we've partnered with the marathon to give you the Official Travel Guide to CMJ. If you're in New York City, you'll begin to see it in your favorite venues this September.
