All Tomorrow's Parties Cancels Jabberwocky Festival

London, UK --- The Jabberwocky Festival, which was set to take place this weekend, August 15-16, at the ExCel Centre, has been cancelled by festival organizers All Tomorrow's Parties

While it seems like organizers tried their hardest to keep the festival afloat, money ultimately ran short, causing the last-minute cancellation. Barry Hogan of ATP explained in a statement the independent company took a large financial loss in the process of planning the festival, and "despite healthy ticket sales" to go on with Jabberwocky "would have 100% been the end of ATP."

This would have been the first-ever Jabberwocky festival, named for the mash-up of presenters: ATP, Pitchfork, and Primavera Sound. Performers were set to include Neutral Milk Hotel, James Blake, Darkside, Caribou, Kurt Vile & the Violators, and more. The festival also included a slew of official after-parties and events around London.

The cancellation will not affect any other ATP events, and ticket refunds will be available at point of purchase.
