Electric Forest 2014 by Benjamin Slayter for Electric Forest

Rothbury, Michigan -- Electric Forest has revealed the artist lineup for its 5th annual music festival, taking place June 25-28. The festival welcomes heavyweights Bassnectar, Skrillex, Kaskade, Flume, and Big Gigantic as well as The String Cheese Incident, returning for the 5th year in a row to again perform 3 sets.

Electric Forest, known for its showcasing of roots, rock, and jam-style acts in addition to dance music's most current performers, will also see performances from Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Joe Russo's Almost Dead, Yonder Mountain String Band, Odesza, Paul Okenfold, Lotus, Carnage, Carl Cox, G-Eazy, Flux Pavilion, Seun Kuti, Shpongle, Phantogram, Gramatik, Galactic with Macy Gray, Lettuce, Break Science, The Motet, and John Digweed. Scroll down for the full 100+ lineup so far and stay tuned for additional artist announcements.

With such an impressive lineup, it's easy to forget Electric Forest is more than just music. With the Sherwood Forest as its center, the music festival combines art and community with its music through commissioned art pieces, themed environments, and performance artists wandering the grounds. As far as community goes, read our review of EF 2013 for what's in store.

General Admission Weekend Passes are still available at $279.50 before service fees. Unfortunately, Electric Forest's many GOOD LIFE VIP experiences sold out in record time in December.
