Playa del Carmen, Mexico -- Italian-owned, Ibiza-based party Circo Loco has been delivering chaotic circuses for over a decade. Now with multiple residences all over the world, the event has been highly sought after among the electronic enthusiast elite. For their BPM night event, performances by Boris Werner, The Martinez Brothers, Cassy, Matthias Tanzmann, and David Squillace took attendees on a wild journey filled with techno twists and turns with beats matching the intensity of the decor.

Starting her set with Anthea and Cellar's "Down With God (DJ Sneak's What Up Dog dub)," Berlin-based Catherine Britton, or Cassy, got the party sped up into a loco whirlwind of gluttony commonly found at the Circo Loco events. As the crowd warmed up to her, she brought classic house melodies mixed with techno blasting throughout one of Playa's largest venues, Blue Parrot.

Though Maceo Plex couldn't appear due to his son becoming ill, the all-star acts in the Circo Loco show all delivered wild performances, creating a twisted evening of dance music revelry.

Circo loco brought us a beautiful afternoon to match the roster of their day event at Mamita's. The cabanas were packed, glasses full, and legs and feet grooving. A large gathering came out in their swimwear to shake a little loco out of ‘em on the white sand.

Seth Troxler and Tale of Us murdered the decks into the evening with Andrew Grant, Ellen Allien, and Dyed Soundorom back-to-back with Dan Ghenacia getting the party started.

Two thirds of Apollonia, chic Frenchman Dan Ghenacia and Didier Soundorom (aka Dyed Soundorom) shook up the decks as they went back-to-back during the party. The two started working together when Ghenacia observed Soundorom’s talent and had him do a compilation for one of Freak N’Chic’s first compilation mix. Now, Soundorom has a residency at Circo Loco at Ibiza's DC-10 and they both play at the parties internationally.

Visionquest’s Seth Troxler brought a hypnotizing set to stage as he entranced the crowd with voodoo magic. Tale of Us was next up, an appropriate act to follow Troxler as their first full debut release was on Visionquest in 2011. The two concluded the evening as well as Circo Loco’s double stint at The BPM Festival.
