Budapest's Sziget Festival Adds Blink 182, Jimmy Eat World, Cee Lo Green, and More

Budapest, Hungary -- Sziget Festival has added new acts to its 2014 event, taking place this year from August 11-18 on the Obuda Island, otherwise known as the "Island of Freedom."
Pop-punk legends Blink 182 will kick things off on Friday, as they headline the opening night of the fest. Other newly added artists include Cee Lo Green, Jimmy Eat World, Casper, A Day To Remember and Fedde le Grand.
The artists join a massive and diverse lineup, including Anti Flag, Bastille, Jake Bugg, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, OutKast, Placebo, Queens of the Stone Age, Skrillex, and more. The week-long festival will also feature an Opening Show by Deadmau5, and a special End Show with Calvin Harris.
Sziget is a unique event that takes place in over 50 venues with around 200 events every day, and features cultural activities like theatre, circus programs, and art exhibitions in addition to its musical lineup.
"Advance Round 2" tickets are on sale now - 5-day passes (without camping) start at 179€, and week-long passes with camping will run you 209€. City pass and caravan options are also available for purchase.
