Electric Zoo to Take Tokyo in 2015

Tokyo, Japan -- New York City's Electric Zoo will expand to Tokyo's Makuhari Beach for one day during the Golden Week Holiday.

Besides the festival's name, Electric Zoo Beach Tokyo, and date, May 5, no further details have been announced. Hopeful attendees can subscribe to the festival's newsletter to be the first to know about ticket information and the lineup.

For seven years, Electric Zoo has been a mainstay in NYC's music festival scene, taking place every Labor Day Weekend on Randall's Island. Last spring, EZoo established its first international edition in Mexico City. Considering the festival's shaky past two editions in NYC (2013 saw unfortunate drug-related deaths and 2014 shut down due to weather), foreign expansion seems like a phenomenal move for the festival and its producer Made Event.

In 2014, we here at Cultivora produced the Official Travel Guide to Electric Zoo, which is still available for free download. Electric Zoo will again take place in New York this coming Labor Day Weekend, the pre-sale for which is going on now.
