Enjoy a Taste of the Gulf and BMI Artists at Hangout Festival 2014

Gulf Shores, Alabama -- In addition to a myriad food vendors throughout the festival, Hangout will feature an Alabama Gulf Seafood Courtyard for an authentic taste of the Gulf Shores. 

The culinary experience will feature regional chefs preparing fresh catches from oysters to shrimp and crab right from the waters of the festival's backdrop. So far, the menu consists of New Orleans-transplant Acme Oyster House serving Boom Boom Shrimp, Shrimp PoBoys, and Meat Pies; VooDoo Shrimp, Gulf Seafood Jambalaya, and Alabama Shrimp Étouffée from the Southern and Creole-influenced The Hungry Owl; and Wintzell's Oyster House, the Mobile, Alabama mainstay known for (and serving) their Shrimp & Sausage Jambalaya, Fresh Shucked Oysters, and Seafood Gumbo. 

To wash it all down, head to the courtyard's Olmeca Altos Margarita Bar for a cocktail made with 100% blue agave tequila. 

While you're enjoying your taste of the gulf, you can watch Bronze Radio Return, Desert Noises, Dugas, Empires, Shakey Graves, Wild Belle, Wild Cub, Lonely Biscuits, Ethan Tucker, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, and The Wans perform on the BMI Stage. 

Tickets to Hangout Festival, taking place May 16-18, are still available and range from $229 GA to $1,649 SUPER VIP + Shuttle combos.
