Larmer Tree Gardens, United Kingdom -- End of the Road Festival has announced its 2014 lineup with a cooky video of dudes in animal masks picking up records. The Flaming Lips, Wild Beasts, and Yo La Tengo will headline the camping festival.

Also performing are The Horrors, John Grant, White Denim, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and Deer Tick, with more still to be announced. Check out the full lineup so far below.

End of the Road first began in 2006 and has been well received by critics and fans alike for its alternative approach to running a festival. The creators sought to avoid booking over-hyped bands and gave each act longer sets than seen at most festivals.

They also wanted to remain true to the independent festival spirit, and thus encouraged acts to collaborate on stage or perform impromptu sets at various spots on the festival grounds. A popular spot for such performances is the "Piano in the Woods," where Patti Smith held a book reading and Alabama Shakes and Okkervil River performed on live sets. In 2011, these factors in addition to them providing a range of quality food and beers garnered EOTR Festival the "Best Small Festival" title from the UK Festival Awards.

Ticketing and camping information is available now for the August 29-31 festival, which welcomes festivalgoers of all ages. If you plan to attend, check out our 36 Hours in Salisbury, England feature for some good eating and cultural intake close to the festival grounds.
