Florence + The Machine, Caribou to Play Øya 2015
Florence + The Machine via the artist
Oslo, Norway -- To celebrate the release of her upcoming album, Florence Welch as Florence + The Machine will headline Øya Festival on Thursday August 13, 2015. The appearance will mark the British artist's first concert in Norway in three years, and her only stop in the country for 2015.
Also announced for the August 11-15 festival is Canadian artist Caribou, who released one of 2014's best albums (in our opinion anyway) Our Love. Dan Snaith and his band, together Caribou, will play Øya on Wednesday August 12. Foxygen will also make a stop in Oslo for the festival next year, the California boys' first time playing Norway.
Rounding out these international announcements is Siri Nilsen, a Norwegian singer songwriter touring in support of her third album released earlier this year.
Florence + The Machine, Caribou, Foxygen, and Siri Nilsen will join previously announced acts Future Islands, Flying Lotus, Torgeir Waldemar, Run the Jewels, Thastrom, Ida Jenshus, Father John Misty, Fay WIldhagen, Slutface, Bendik, Thea Hjelmeland, Spectral Haze, and Møster!. Tickets to Øya are on sale now.
