New Orleans, Louisiana -- Voodoo Music and Arts Experience has announced the initial lineup for its October 31-November 2 event. The festival has revealed big names like Foo Fighters, Outkast, Skrillex, and Arctic Monkeys, along with more avant-garde performers like World/Inferno Friendship Society and Peelander-Z. And of course, as is Voodoo tradition, the lineup also includes names like Honey Island Swamp Band and Dirty Bourbon River Show, which are almost too N'awlins to be true.

Tickets go on sale Friday, June 27, but specially-priced presale packages are already on sale - all you need is the code "VOODOO." Options include general admission ($130), VIP ($350), and Super VIP ($2,000) weekend passes. VIP includes access to private lounges and viewing areas, express entry, free shaves for men, free massages, and more. Super VIP, which includes two passes, will allow you to go backstage and experience Voodoo like an artist.

The festival is also offering VIP on-site camping with their "Camp Voodoo" package ($3,000). A far cry from camping at Bonnaroo or Sasquatch!, Camp Voodoo includes all the amenities of the Super VIP package, in addition to a pre-built safari style tent for two, a queen size bed with linens, electricity, concierge services, a wifi lounge, showers, laundry services, and complimentary breakfast and snacks.

So far, there's no word on what the camping sitch will be for those of us who can't afford the luxury experience, but Voodoo has partnered with over 25 hotels in the area to provide special rates. The Hyatt Regency New Orleans will be the official host hotel, and Voodoo guest rooms will include complimentary wifi, two-for-one breakfast, and the opportunity to win a suite upgrade. Hotel packages can be booked now through Voodoo Travel.

This probably only applies to a minority of people,  but if you're a parent worried about Voodoo's overlap with trick-or-treating on Halloween night, know that kids under 10 get in to the experience free. Bring the whole family for a spooky, music-filled Halloweekend.
