Gessafelstein Added to Øya 2014
Gessafelstein via the artist
Oslo, Norway -- Øya Festival has added Gesaffelstein to its 2014 installment, taking place this year from August 5-9 in Tøyenparken. The French electronic music producer will join previously announced acts including The Horrors, Outkast, Queens of the Stone Age, FKA Twigs, and The National. Unique neofunk group Proviant Audio has also been added to the lineup.
Mike Levy, who performs under the stage name Gesaffelstein, is one of the most influential French musicians in the game right now; his heavy, sexy records are aggressive and yet alarmingly danceable. (I may or may not be bumping "Pursuit" at my desk right now.) He joins a diverse roster of artists playing what's sure to be an unforgettable 4-day event - scroll down to check out the full lineup so far.
Single-Day tickets to Øya are still available for 839 NOK ($141.05). Grab 'em while you still can.
