Worthy Farm, United Kingdom -- The legendary Glastonbury Music Festival has announced tickets will go on-sale for its 2015 installment at the beginning of October. Its 2014 edition wrapped up at the end of June.

The festival is once again supporting green initiatives by giving festivalgoers who book their ticket with a coach package (rather than driving their own car) first dibs. Those go on-sale Wednesday, October 1 at 7pm BST. Glastonbury will make standard passes available Sunday, October 5 at 9am BST, so you might want to stay in that Saturday night lest you sleep through the sale. Last year's tickets ran out in just two hours.

As always, we won't get a lineup until the spring, but with Glastonbury's reputation for putting together ridiculous rosters, it's a safe bet that a ticket to the festival is a solid investment. Last year saw Arcade Fire, Metallica, and Kasabian headlining with The Black Keys, Jack White, Massive Attack, and Pixies supporting.

Glastonbury will take place June 24-28 at the Worthy Farm. Festivalgoers will need to put down a £50 deposit to reserve a ticket before paying full price of £220 + a £5 booking fee. For more information, head over to the festival website
