Kent, U.K –- quintessential hardcore band Black Flag will reunite their 1979 lineup for the U.K festival Hevy Fest to take place at the Port Lympne Wild Animal Park August 2-4, 2013. The performance will mark the band’s first U.K performance in almost 30 years and their only U.K. appearance of 2013.

Participating members will include vocalist Ron Reyes as well as guitarist and founder Greg Ginn. Long time members Chuck Dukowski and Roberto “Robo” Valverde are also rumored to be on board as the bassist and drumer, respectively.

Although the L.A. punk rockers have stayed mostly inactive since their split in 1986, “there is a whole generation of musicians and fans that would cite BLACK FLAG as being the most important band to have influenced them, without ever even having the change to see them perform live, until now.” Hevy Fest’s announcement reads.

Early bird tickets are on sale now for £89, which includes weekend camping and animal park entry. Stay tuned for the 80+ more acts still to be announced.
