James Holden, Jon Hopkins, Paul Kalkbrenner, Bonobo, Daphni, and Evian Christ have been announced for both Sónar Reykjavík and Sónar Stockholm in February 2014.

During Sónar Reykjavík, they'll be joined by previously announced headliner Major Lazer in addition to When Saints Go Machine and the premiere of Starwalker, a collaboration between Jean-Benoit Dunckel (one half of Air) and Icelandic composer Bardi Johannsson. Sónar Reykjavík, now in its second year, will take place Feburary 13-15 and will again transform the underground car park of Harpa, the Reykjavik Music Hall, into a nighclub with five stages and over 60 artists, bands, and DJs.

For the first time in 2014, Sónar will stop in Sweden. The inaugural Sónar Stockholm will take place February 14-15 at Munchenbryggeriet in the Södermalm disctrict and will present 30 artists and DJs on three stages. In addition to the names announced above, Sónar Stockholm welcomes Johanna Knutsson and Sandra Mosh, two of Sweden's finest DJs today.

Tickets can be purchased for both events on their respective websites. Sónar Stockholm offers a 2-Day Pass for 102€ in addition to Pass + Hotel Packages. Single day tickets will not be available for the event. 3-Day Passes for Sónar Reykjavík are on sale for 109€ and can also be paired with a travel package. No word yet whether single day tickets will become available closer to the event.
