JanSport Bonfire Session is Coming to Brooklyn
Brooklyn, New York -- JanSport's touring Bonfire Sessions is stopping in Brooklyn this September with DIIV, Guards, and Fletcher C. Johnson.
The September 21 session will take place in Brooklyn's Havemeyer Park, right by the Williamsburg Bridge. Entry is free with an RSVP, though admittance will still be determined by capacity. If you haven't headed to Williamsburg's newest park yet, you won't be disappointed. As you sit by the promised bonfire listening to three of New Yorkers' favorite bands, you'll have a front row seat to gaze at the NYC skyline.
The fourth annual JanSport Bonfire Sessions, which has been taking place throughout 2013, has already stopped in Austin, San Francisco, Montreal, and Seattle with Brooklyn being its fifth and final stop of the year.According to Noisey, the idea behind each session is simple: a free concert with a locally-loved band with a bonfire.
That's an idea we can definitely get behind, plus, they couldn't have picked better bands. We've already seen DIIV and Guards over the past year - the former at CMJ and Osheaga and the latter at SXSW, Osheaga, and FYF Fest - and we can't wait to add Fletcher C. Johnson to our repertoires.
