New York City -- The fun doesn't stop after the last act leaves the stage and Randall's Island closes, Governors Ball will keep the ball rolling (punny, right?) well into the night with their official after parties. But, after a day filled with dancing/moshing and running between stages, you'll need to refuel post-fest and pre-party.

NYC is the city that never sleeps, so you won't have trouble finding a bite late at night. That being said, when you're rushing from the festival to the after party, you want to make sure that bite to eat takes place at a convenient location. That's why we broke down each of the Gov Ball After Party venues - Brooklyn Bowl, Output, Irving Plaza, Knitting Factory, and Glasslands Gallery - with their respective event listings and three killer restaurants where you can grab a delicious late-night meal. You're welcome.

Treat yourself to a classic cocktail, full meal, or sharable appetizers at Cafe Colette (79 Berry Street), where you can dine in the cozy garden, dining room, or at the bar until 1am nightly. /// Open until 3am Friday and Saturday and until midnight on Thursday, Vinnie’s Pizza (148 Bedford Avenue) is the place to go for a quick, yet authentic, New York slice. /// With a build-your-own menu, vegetarian meatball, jello shot special, and a kitchen open until 4am, the Meatball Shop (170 Bedford Avenue) just might be your new favorite restaurant.

Late-Night Eats

As is the town of it's namesake, Calexico (645 Manhattan Avenue) is on the border of Mexican and Californian. Watch out for their Chipotle "Crack" Sauce - it's addictive. /// Berry Park (4 Berry Street) may be best known for its rooftop and Manhattan views, but it's equally as enjoyable for a late-night dinner. /// One of Greenpoint's most recent additions is Australian restaurant/bar Northern Territory (12 Franklin Street), and it's giving neighboring rooftop bars a run for their money both in view and food quality.

Irving Plaza

Late-Night Eats

The cozy booths and sidewalk seating of Coffee Shop (29 Union Square West) keep foodies and budget-diners a like coming back for more. Open 23 hours a day, pop in for their late-night menu featuring steak, salads,  pancakes, and mojitos. /// Your usual late-night meal is in for an upscale change at L’Express (249 Park Avenue South), which serves traditional French cuisine 24/7. /// There's a lot of history at Old Town Bar (45 East 18th Street), which has been open since 1892. But its biggest draw in modern times rests in its burger menu - vegetarians, you're good here too.

Knitting Factory BK

Event Listings

The Chain Gang of 1974, Black Taxi, The Most Definitely (DJ Set)
Saturday June 7, 11pm (All Ages)

Late-Night Eats

It's hard to tell whether its the Raw Bar, cocktails, chops, or seafood that make Walter Foods (253 Grand Street) so popular. Whatever it is, the fact you can eat a substantial meal in a classy atmosphere until 2am doesn't hurt. ///  Lodge (318 Grand Street) provides a cabin-in-the-woods feel (one in the Adirondacks, specifically) complete with Pine-accents, locally-sourced dishes, and a wide selection of canned American beers and single-batch bourbons. /// The best cheap bar food in town is found at The Commodore (366 Metropolitan Avenue), where many flock for the cheap bear and weekend DJs but also come for the fried chicken alone.

Glasslands Gallery

Via Crown Victoria

Event Listings

Cayucas, Little Comets
Saturday June 7, 11:30pm (21+)
BUY TICKETS $12-14
Diarrhea Planet, Total Slacker, Lvl Up
Sunday June 8, 8:30pm (21+)

Late-Night Eats

Make your way past the crowded indoor bar and situate yourself in Crown Victoria's (60 South Second Street) spacious back patio. Depending on your timing, you can order from their full menu or late-night offerings like Grilled Cheese and Nachos with Pulled Pork. /// La Superior (295 Berry Street) has a high opinion of itself, and it's well deserved. Mexican street food is what you'll get, from tacos and enchiladas to its signature tortas ahogada ("the first in New York"). /// For a sports-filled break in your night, head to Croxley’s Abbey (63 Grand Street) for wings, burgers, and other pub favorites to be enjoyed surrounded by flat screen TVs.
