Raleigh, North Carolina -- Hopscotch Music Festival has announced its initial 2014 lineup. Spoon and Mastodon will top the bill, supported by St. Vincent, Sun Kil Moon, Death, High on Fire, and many more. Check out the full lineup below, and stay tuned for an announcement of 40 more bands in the coming months.

The critically-acclaimed festival will take place on September 4-6 in and around the Raleigh City Plaza, where the main stage will be set up. Other shows are scheduled for various clubs around the downtown area.

More than just music, Hopscotch will also host day parties and art exhibits, including the second annual SiteWork art show and a photography exhibit. Also growing out of the music festival is this year's first-ever Hopscotch Design Festival, a 2-day event from September 3-4 that will host interactive sessions, workshops, and parties with presenters from disciplines from graphic design to urban planning, food, film, and more.

VIP and 3-day passes are on sale now. 1-day passes and tickets for individual shows will go on sale in June.
