Asheville, North Carolina -- Moogfest 2014 has announced the day-by-day schedule, festival venues, and ticket information today. Kraftwerk is now slated to play three shows over the course of the week in addition to other big names in electronic music.

The festival will take over Thomas Wolfe, US Cellular Basement, The Orange Peel, and The Mill Room among fourteen total venues in downtown Asheville, North Carolina. Tickets are currently available starting at $49 for Wednesday and increasing to $89 for the remainder of the week. Purchasing a Saturday ticket grants access to Sunday festivities as well.

All the hardcore krautrock fans should take note that the schedule has Kraftwerk slated to play twice on Friday.

As the lineup announcement from a few weeks ago showed, Kraftwerk will be joined by fellow headliners Pet Shop Boys and M.I.A. Also performing are Flying Lotus, Dillon Francis, CHIC, Laurie Anderson, Keith Emerson, Zed's Dead and Moderat. You can check out the full lineup so far below.

In addition to live acts, Moogfest will feature keynote speeches from musicians, producers, and record industry insiders, most notably Janelle MonĂ¡e as well as key players in the making of Daft Punk's Album of the Year Grammy winner Random Access Memories, including Nile Rodgers (who will perform with CHIC) and Giorgio Moroder

Moogfest began in 2004 as a tribute to legendary synthesizer pioneer Bob Moog who passed away a year after its first installment. The festival is meant to showcase "contemporary bands and producers that exemplify the innovative spirit of electronic music."
