Miami, Florida -- In the metal-est news that you'll hear all week, Motörhead has announced that the band is hosting a four-day cruise into the Caribbean entitled the Motörboat. Joining them on this foray into thrash on the high seas are Megadeth, Anthrax, and Zakk Wylde.
Joining the headliners are Danko Jones, Fireball Ministry, and Wilson as well as SNL alum Jim Bruer for stand-up comedy, with more to be announced.
Already dubbed "The Loudest Boat in the Wörld" by the concert promoters, these four days are a headbanger's dream. Theoretically unkillable bassist and vocalist of Motörhead, Lemmy Kilmister, has said, "If you thought waves could rock a boat, you've got another thing coming with this lovely little outing."
As if this wasn't already the most brutal thing that's happened in recent history, the cruise ship that Satan shall be commandeering for this week is named Carnival Ecstasy. Ladies and gents, throw up those horns.
The cruise will stretch from September 22-26 departing from Miami and stopping in Key West and Cozumel, Mexico before returning to port. Cabins go on sale March 18. You can find more info at Motörboat's Facebook Page
