New York City -- Governors Ball is only four days away from taking over Randall's Island for its fourth stint on NYC's festival circuit. Over its three days, the music festival will see near 70 artists grace its four stages - from acts we've been dying to see for years to relative newcomers ripe for discovery.

If you've been as excited for Gov Ball as the Cultivora team, you've probably already pined over our playlist of Outkast deep cuts and kept up to date with the acts that've released new music in 2014 (Damon Albarn, Banks, Bleachers, Meg Myers, Broken Bells...). But simply listening to the music of Gov Ball's artists isn't the sole purpose of our dedicated playlist. We selected the tracks to follow the festival's daily schedule, so you can pre-game in an orderly fashion

Haerts kicks off the playlist as they will the festival Friday afternoon before the tracks flow through the Day 1 lineup to Outkast and Damon Albarn. After "Ms. Jackson," the playlist jumps to Saturday with tracks from Deafheaven, Chance The Rapper, The Strokes, Skrillex, and Jack White (just to name a few). The last chunk of songs are dedicated to Sunday, beginning with Meg Myers and coming to an epic end with Vampire Weekend and Axwell ^ Ingrosso

Stream the playlist in its entirety via Spotify below, or open it in a new browser to follow and synch it to your personal Spotify account.
