Pitchfork Adds 24 New Artists to Chicago Festival

Chicago, Illinois -- Pitchfork 2014 announced this afternoon that 24 new artists would be joining their summer Chicago festival lineup. Notable additions include St. Vincent, Danny Brown, Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks, Real Estate, and Schoolboy Q.
They've also included Earl Sweatshirt, Cloud Nothings, Hudson Mohawke, Deafheaven, Perfect Pussy, Dum Dum Girls, and Speedy Ortiz among others. Pitchfork previously released that Beck, Kendrick Lamar, Neutral Milk Hotel, and Grimes would be among the headliners. Scroll down to see the full lineup.
The music critique website began their festival in 2006 in Chicago featuring a range of independent genres before extending to a sister festival in Paris. Last year's event included Björk, R. Kelly, Belle and Sebastian, and The Breeders as headliners.
Pitchfork Music Festival will occur July 18-20 in Chicago's Union Park. Three-day passes are currently on-sale for $130 with single-day passes being offered for $50.
