New York City -- The initial panel lineup has been announced for CMJ Music Marathon 2013, including 9 featured panels that will demonstrate the conference's question everything approach.

Featured Panels:
The Big Picture: An Industry Overview
The Death of A&R
Brand You: Maximizing Corporate Partnerships
The New Age of Independent Labels
Broadcasted: The Reign of the Music Video
Product Revolution: The Future of Hardware
Back in Black: The Return of Vinyl
iTunes: A Decade Later
EDM: The Last Dance?

These, in addition to the 80+ panels yet to be announced, will feature industry leaders and entrepreneurs who have been at the forefront of the music industry's restructuring. The conference portion of CMJ Music Marathon will be headquartered at NYU's Kimmel Center for University Life from October 15-19 and has become a must-attend for industry professionals, press, artists, and those aspiring to all three.

Badges for the conference are on sale for $495 or for $275 if you are a student. Both of these badge prices will continue to rise in price as the festival approaches. In addition to entrance into the conference, a badge will also help you gain access into the Music Marathon's showcases taking place day and night across Manhattan.

Keep your eyes peeled for our revamped festival guide to CMJ coming your way in the next few days and a printed version of the guide to be distributed around New York leading up to the festival.
