New York City-- As we revealed last week, Red Bull Music Academy Festival New York will return this summer for the entire month of May; featuring live shows, club nights, lectures, art installations, and more.

Organizers plan to make the month-long music and culture series an annual festival, offering 15 public events in diverse venues including the New Museum, The Westway, Town Hall, the Brooklyn Masonic Temple, and the Williamsburg Waterfront.

Each event will be totally unique; from "A Conversation With D'Angelo" on May 21, in which the R&B singer will share his creative approach in a public lecture, to "The Mister Saturday Night House Party" on May 24, when the Brooklyn-based party and record label Mister Saturday Night will throw a special "house party" featuring the label's full roster.

Artists include D'Angelo, Panda Bear, Hudson Mohawke, David Byrne, Tim Hecker, Napalm Death, Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip), Kele Okereke (Bloc Party), Francois K, Robert Henke, The Haxan Cloak, Gunplay, Wolf Eyes, Regis, Optimo, Daedelus, and many more.

For more information and to purchase tickets to the individual events, check out the Red Bull Music Academy site.
