Red Bull Sound Select to Take Over LA with Death From Above 1979 and Run The Jewels

Run The Jewels by Laura Baker-Finch

Los Angeles, California -- Run the Jewels, Death From Above 1979, Chance the Rapper, Kurt Vile, A$AP Mob, Cut Copy, Juicy J, and Future Islands are among the 60 artists playing Red Bull Sound Select Presents: 30 Days in LA

The artist development leg of Red Bull has announced a month-long music discovery series to feature 60 artists playing shows in 30 local venues across Los Angeles this November. With such heavy hitters as the names above plus Real Estate, Dum Dum Girls, Warpaint, Bad Religion, and The Head and The Heart, we're a bit confused what the discovery aspect of Red Bull Sound Select's LA takeover is - but we're stoked anyway.

Despite being a multi-location event, no sets will overlap to follow Red Bull Sound Select's mission for "music fans to see artists they love and discover new favorites." Among the hopeful "new favorites" are Sound Select acts Shy Girls, Gemini Club, Thurz, Wrestlers, and Tink

Traditional LA venues like The Roxy and The El Rey Theatre will be featured alongside unique locales including Madame Tussauds for a Wax on Wax vinyl DJ night and The Luxe Hotel parking lot for a Cut Copy Block Party.

Become a free Red Bull Sound Select member at the event's website to be eligible to purchase tickets, which are all priced at $15 or less per show. Scroll down for the full itinerary or head to the Sound Select website for additional info.
