Philadelphia, Pennsylvania -- In an original video release, The Roots' drummer Questlove announced the lineup for the 7th annual Roots Picnic through a series of cue-cards, all the while getting his hair done.  Scroll down to watch the video and peep the lineup.

Taking place this year on the Festival Pier at Penn's Landing on May 31, The Roots will perform their own set, and then back the legendary Snoop Dogg for his headlining performance.

The Roots Picnic is known for having epic onstage collaborations, such as 2009's Public Enemy performance, backed by The Roots, members of The Black Keys, Antibalas, and TV on the Radio, and 2012's De La Soul set, also backed by The Roots.

Additional artists include Janelle Monáe, The War On Drugs, New York rappers A$AP Ferg and Action Bronson, Just Blaze, one of David Byrne's favorite new rappers, Biz Markie, and more.

Grab your tickets on Friday, March 7 at 12pm.  Check out the full lineup below.
