Primavera Sound 2013 via the festival

Barcelona, Spain -- Primavera Sound has announced the stage partnerships for its 2014 installment featuring sponsorships from Sony, Boiler Room with Bowers & Wilkins Sound, and minimúsica.

The newest sponsor to the festival is Sony, who will host two separate stages at Primavera Sound. The first, simply called Sony Stage, will see acts such as Arcade FireThe NationalSt. VincentVolcano Choir, and Nine Inch Nails. The second, the Sony Club PS14, will mostly feature up-and-coming and local acts that were selected via a competition.

The Boiler Room + Bowers & Wilkins Stage will mostly see DJ acts, so it's all the more appropriate that the audio company has built a special soundsystem specifically for this event as well as a 360 video projection. For its second consecutive year, Boiler Room will broadcast many of the shows taking place on this stage during the three days of Primavera. The Boiler Room + Bowers & Wilkins Stage will feature sets from Jamie xx, Pional, John Talbot, and many others.

The festival will also see returning sponsor minimúsica, who will host a stage with children's acts and activities. In addition to the Parc del Fórum stage, minimúsica is sponsoring shows in the Parc de la Ciutadella including a performance by the group Templeton that rearranges songs from the trippy Cartoon Network series Adventure Time.

Primavera Sound will take place in Barcelona May 28-31. Tickets are still available with three-day passes starting at 195€.
