Splendour in the Grass Rolls Out Food Lineup

Byron Bay, Australia -- Splendour in the Grass has released their food lineup, with options ranging from Vietnamese delights to organic doughnuts.

This year's food vendors will be housed in dining hubs with laneways lined with food, and the event will also host a Moët Champagne Bar. Moët has paired with contemporary Spanish restaurant St. Elmo to provide a sophisticated dining experience where festivalgoers can go to take a break and relax away from the bustle of the stages. JR's Smokehouse Barbecue will provide patrons with authentic southern, wood-fired fare, while Grill'd is the truck to head to for healthy options that don't skimp on flavor.

For their 2013 edition, the festival will feature five food destinations, which offer more than just a cluster of food stalls. The Mexican Cantina stage will be your go-to spot for fresh burritos, nachos, and quesadillas, or check out the Superfood Tent, a food hall with myriad choices. An Australian version of Chelsea Market, Eat Street is the place to go for a short respite, people watching, and, of course, a quick snack. You'll be drawn to the exotic smells and delicacies available at Hawkers Markets, a Asian-inspired market located near the Miss Saigon tent, but you don't have to worry about stocking up on snacks before bed - the Campground's food vendors will be open 24/7 to provide you with a midnight snack or a morning pick-me-up. You can also make a stop at the festival's General Store for sundries and food and beverage staples.

Splendour will have a separate area for food trucks, curated by Raph Rashid of Taco Truck and Beatbox Kitchen. Rashid, who was responsible for 2009's Australian food truck revolution, has handpicked eight of his favorite mobile eateries to be a part of the fest's Truck Stop. Rashid's trucks will be joined by Australian favorites Harry's Food Truck, Agape Organic, Digging for Fire, Urban Pasta, Al Carbón, and Gumbo Kitchen. Check  the full food lineup for the days and times each eatery will be open.

Although General Admission, Country Club Event and Camping Tickets are sold out for the July 26-28 fest, resale tickets may still be available via moshtix.com.au.
