Start Your Planning! Riot Fest Releases Chicago and Denver Schedules

posted by Laura Baker-Finch on September 05, 2014

The release of the Riot Fest Toronto schedule earlier this week had ticket holders of the festivals other two editions at the edge of their seats. With the release of the Chicago and Denver daily timetables earlier today, future festivalgoers can finally start their planning.

Being the largest of the three Riot Fests, we expected the Chicago schedule to be the most difficult to navigate. With 7 stages and 100+ artists, the timetable sees multiple overlaps, which include Jane's Addiction, Rise Against, and Slayer on Friday, Taking Back Sunday and The National on Saturday, and The Cure, Bring Me The Horizon, and Weezer on Sunday. Our major Chicago hangup, however, comes from The Menzingers' 11:45 AM set time on the festivals last day - so much for sleeping in.

Denver's schedule has noticeably less conflicts, with only 4 stages hosting the artists on the bill. I Am The Avalanche's Saturday set overlaps with the beginning of The Cure's headlining slot and The National and Wu-Tang Clan compete for Sunday's last set. Besides these two, Denver, you're in good shape.

After its Canadian installment this weekend, Riot Fest will take to Chicago for its 10th anniversary September 12-14 and then make its way to Denver September 19-21 to close out its 2014 run. Limited ticket options still remain for both Chicago and Denver.
