Chillicothe, IL --- You're never too old for summer camp.

Summer Camp Music Festival has made their third wave of artist announcements, adding 35 bands including Girl Talk, Blues Traveler, Matisyahu, G. Love & Special Sauce, and Everyone Orchestra. Scroll down to see all the new artists announced, as well as previously announced acts.

The new round of bands will join headliners Moe., Umphrey's McGee, Zac Brown Band, Bassnectar, and Trey Anastasio Band for the 13th annual Summer Camp, which will take place on Memorial Day Weekend, May 23-25, at the Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois.

Summer Camp fans laud the festival for its relaxed, welcoming atmosphere–likely due to the camping aspect of the fest and the fact that "bad attitudes" are on the list of prohibited items.

Each year, festival attendees nearly triple the population of the small town 140 miles away from Chicago. Approximately 15,000 fans gather to watch over 100 bands play across 7 stages during the long weekend.

The name "Summer Camp" is not arbitrary–in addition to its musical lineup, the festival offers activities like musician workshops and a Kids' Camp, where children can participate in programs like jewelry making, face painting, and arts and crafts. In past years, the Kids' Camp has also featured entertainment from jugglers, balloon artists, and musicians.

Summer Camp also welcomes myriad nonprofit organizations to their Make a Difference Area, where panel discussions, acoustic performances, and activities like yoga and raffles help to increase social and environmental awareness. Recycling and composting is encouraged in all festival areas, aided by volunteers called the Green Team who help with all sorts of "greening" initiatives.

3-day passes for the festival are already on sale starting at $194.50, as are pre-party passes, RV passes, and VIP upgrades, which include special camping, parking, and seating areas, and more, the most pricey packages even offering all-access backstage passes. Sunday single-day tickets will be available closer to the festival.
