Kingston Downs, Georgia -- The team at CounterPoint has released details on the art festivalgoers should expect at this year's event, taking place this coming weekend from April 25-27.

CounterPoint art director Greg Mike aims to both highlight the beauty of the festival's natural elements - rolling hills, sprawling fields, and a view of the surrounding mountains - and also enhance them with lighting effects and custom environments. Sculptures, live art, optical illusions, and tree décor are just some of the ways this vision will be manifested.

One of the main elements of this year's art scene will be the Heineken House, a multi-sensory experience featuring a live art pyramid at its center.  The 35-foot tall pyramid will house 12 art walls that will be hand painted over the course of the festival. Both local and national artists will be showcasing their skills: Tristan Eaton (Los Angeles), Ricky Watts (San Francisco), Christina Angelina (Los Angeles), and Johnny Robles (Miami) are a few of the featured names. The pyramid will offer free wifi, a bar, lounge seating surrounding the structure, and wild lighting effects.

Festivalgoers are encouraged to use the custom photobooth and participate in scavenger art hunts, including the “Counter-Kittens Scavenger Hunt” by Catlanta.  Catlanta is known for leaving his cut-out cat pieces in random locations, and then alerting his fans via social media to find and "adopt" them.

Lastly, be sure to check out the #CPFLOWER, a fully immersive art installation designed by the winners of a contest held in conjunction with the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) that will provide shade during the day and light up at night.

The awesome art installations are just one draw to this weekend's festival; headliners Outkast, Pretty Lights, Foster the People, and STS9 are at the top of an amazing bill.  J. Cole, Major Lazer, Phantogram, Thievery Corporation, and Janelle Monáe are also hitting the stage.  Scroll down to check out the full lineup.

Tickets to CounterPoint are on sale now, 3-day passes start at $199, with VIP and single day options also available.  Get 'em while you still can!
