Seattle, Washington -- The 43rd annual Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival is almost upon us, so now is the time to finalize your schedule.

Bumbershoot has really stepped up its game this year with a stellar lineup that includes longtime Bumber-vets Death Cab for Cutie, some previous alums such as Kendrick Lamar and Tegan and Sara, along with newbies fun., Alt-J, and Heart (surprisingly enough the Seattle group has never played the festival). So we have put together a list of our top 5 picks that we wouldn't miss for anything this Labor Day weekend.

Fill out your schedule, buy your tickets, if you haven't done so already, grab your bumbershoot (this is Seattle after all), and we'll see you out at Seattle Center.

  • Death Cab for Cutie

I don't think there is a Seattleite who isn't excited to see Death Cab return to Bumbershoot this year. The quartet will be playing its seminal album Transatlanticism in its entirety, in honor of its 10th anniversary. From "Tiny Vessels" to "Title and Registration," get ready for a classic Death Cab throwback that will not disappoint.

Death Cab for Cuties plays Sunday, September 1 at 9:45pm on the Mainstage.

  • Allen Stone

Another one of Seattle's hometown favorites, Allen Stone, has been making quite the impression of the festival circuit this year, with performances at Coachella, Bonnaroo, BottleRock, and more.
The singer's soulful vocals lay atop smooth, funk-infused rhythms that'll make your hips sway, like it or not. If that's not enough of a draw, Alan's got some pretty sweet dance moves himself, so be sure to stop by for those.

Allen Stone plays Monday, September 2nd at 8pm on the TuneIn Stage.

  • FIDLAR

I have been itching to see this LA group for a while now, and I'm stoked to hear their rough punk tunes live this weekend. With songs titled "Cheap Beer" and "Wake Bake Skate" one might assume that FIDLAR is just another skate band that spends their days getting weird and occasionally making music, which is not the case with this quartet. There is an organized chaos present in each song that deliberately creates a certain mood, usually a mosh pit inducing one, that will have you rocking out and humming along well after the show has ended.

FIDLAR plays on Sunday, September 1st at 2:45 on the TuneIn Stage.

  • Ivan & Alyosha

The tunes of Ivan & Alyosha are the perfect way to wind down on Monday night. Soothing acoustic guitars, upbeat poppy vocals, and catchy lyrics lay the way for a feel good set that won't disappoint.

  • The Round 100

Combining music, painting, and spoken word, The Round really brings the idea of an arts festival together. Started at The Fremont Abbey, a venue space in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood, The Round is celebrating it's 100th visual and audible arts performance at this year's Bumbershoot.
On the bill for the 100th edition is painter Scott Erickson, who will be making visual magic to the tunes of local musicians Mary Lambert (of Macklemore's "Same Love" fame), Shelby Earl, Le Wrens, and the spoken word of Matt Gano. This unique experience is definitely not one to miss.

The Round 100 takes place on Sunday, September 1st at 1:45pm on the Plaza Stage.
