Norrköping, Sweden -- Scandinavian music will find a new platform for an international audience in Where's the Music?, a new festival and conference coming to Norrköping in February 2015.

From February 12-14, Norrköping will see 2 conference days with more than 40 lectures and seminars plus 3 days of music with more than 50 acts performing each day. Both the panels and showcases will take place around Industrilandskapet, a unique area within the city.

The music festival is a fruition of the new partnership between festival promoters FKP Scorpio and local tourism entity Experience Norrköping with the vision to show off what Sweden is best known for - great music. The goal is to make Where's the Music? an important meeting point for the European music industry and a platform for Swedish artists, with room for international music as well.

Of the partnership and festival, CEO of FKP Scorpio Folkert Koopmans says, "We have found a great and trustworthy partner in Upplev Norrköping while promoting Bråvalla Festival in 2013 and 2014. It feels great to come back to Norrköping with the new concept, Where's the Music?, so that we can show international professionals in the music industry what Sweden is well known for in Europe - to find and bring up interesting new attics and innovative technical solutions."

No information has been released about ticket options or prices. The submission process for bands closed on October 6, so stay tuned for a lineup announcement for both the panels and showcases.
