Somerset, U.K -- Just when we had almost given up hope of a Rolling Stones festival appearance, Glastonbury may have come to the rescue. It seemed imminent that the band would headline this years Coachella, after a flurry of rumors and Indio tour dates appearing on the band's mobile app. However, the Coachella lineup came sans the Stones, leaving us to wonder if any other festival would pull through.

Enter Glastonbury Festival. According to The Telegraph UK, Glastonbury organizers have offered the Stones a headlining slot, and now it's up to the band whether or not they will play. The iconic UK festival seems a natural choice for the Stones, who have yet to make an appearance there.

Started in 1970, Glastonbury has grown to be one of the world's largest festivals. After taking a hiatus in 2012 for the London Olympic games, Glastonbury is back, and it's ready to make 2013 bigger and better than anything you've seen before. If you're one of the lucky ticket holders to this year's sold out festival, stay tuned and we'll keep you updated on all Rolling Stones and Glastonbury related info.
