Wireless and Roskilde Festivals Go Drake-less

Drake has cancelled his scheduled appearances at two festivals this weekend: Roskilde Festival in Denmark, and Wireless Festival in London and Birmingham, UK. In a statement, the rapper cited illness for the last-minute cancellations.
Roskilde, the weeklong camping festival, began last Sunday, June 29, and continues through this Sunday, July 6. Drake was scheduled to perform on the final day of the festival and, so far, no replacement acts have been announced. The rapper's 11pm time slot would have closed out the week, so the cancellation is probably a bummer for fans already camped out at Roskilde.
Meanwhile, The UK's Wireless Festival will take place in both London and Birmingham this weekend, July 4-6, and organizers have already scrambled to fill the headlining time slots Drake leaves behind. Drake was scheduled to perform Friday night in Birmingham and Saturday night in London. Filling the headlining time slot in Birmingham will be Rudimental, playing an extended set in with some yet-to-be-disclosed "very special guests." Kanye West will take the Saturday night spot in London, meaning West is now headlining both Friday and Saturday nights of the festival, with Bruno Mars to headline on Sunday.
Attempting to calm angry Drake fans in Birmingham (and give them incentive to still attend), Wireless is offering a £20 "Wireless Credit" to all Friday, July 4 attendees. The credit can be used for anything onsite ("food, beverages, merchandise and funfair"). But if that's not enough consolation, refunds will be available at the point of purchase before the event.
According to his Facebook page, Drake's next scheduled performance isn't until August 4 in Toronto. Get well soon, Drizzy Drake.
