Wye Oak, Sinkane, and More Added to First We Take Berlin 2014

Berlin, Germany -- More artists have been added to the lineup of First We Take Berlin, the offshoot of Berlin Music Week dedicated to showcasing up-and-coming artists by indie labels. While Berlin Music Week is September 3-7, First We Take Berlin showcases will take place September 4-5.

Record labels Get Physical, Poesie Musik, City Slang, and Chimperator will all sponsor showcases during the festival. Specific locations, dates, and times for each showcase and performance have yet to be announced, but scroll down to check out the full lineup so far.

The Beatport, Poesie Musik, and Get Physical showcase will feature M.A.N.D.Y., DJ T., and Wankelmut, in addition to other Get Physical artists Roland Leesker & Sound Boy Rock, Brett Johnson, Nils Hoffmann, and German Brigante

Indie label City Slang's showcase, "We Built This City Slang", will feature Wye Oak, Cristobal and the Sea, and DJ Supermarkt, alongside Sinkane and Black Yaya; while Stuttgart-based hip-hop label Chimperator will sponsor a showcase with Hot Cold, Lot, Lary, MAS, Convoy, Elenka, and a special surprise act.

Among other artists announced to play showcases during the two-day festival are The Legendary Tigermen, Ace Animals, Talisco, and Eliza and the Bear

Tickets for First We Take Berlin are available for just €20, and tickets are free for those already attending Berlin Festival.
