WMC 2015

For over 25 years, the Winter Music Conference (WMC) has been a pivotal event in the music industry landscape, gathering the world’s best DJs and musicians for a week of events, parties, workshops and seminars. Over 1,400 artists, music industry professionals, and 100,000 visitors descend on Miami for the week to network, party, learn, and take in the scene.

WMC is technically a conference, not a festival, but there are plenty of shows and parties in addition to the seminars and panels. WMC Headquarters is housed in a modern, custom-designed, air-conditioned tent complex in Collins Park on South Beach. Most area hotels host pool parties (or at least the cool ones) – perfect for beating the Miami heat. At night, there are tons of parties in both South Beach and Downtown Miami with dynamite lineups that will have you making tough choices every night.

If you buy a badge, take advantage of the panels and seminars, which have been led by the likes of Armin van Buuren and Markus Schulz in past years. Registration includes access to panels, seminars, Q & A’s, the International Dance Music Awards, WMC official poolside events, South Beach Sessions, Record Collectors Show, WMC Rocks, trade show & exhibits, workshops, DJ Spin-Offs, VJ Challenges as well as complimentary or reduced admission to WMC official and sanctioned events for the duration of the conference.

Note: WMC overlaps with Ultra Music Festival, so even if you're only in Miami for the conference, you can still use our Guide to Ultra as well as this one. While this guide has the rundown on South Beach, the Ultra guide has all you need to know while in Downtown Miami.
