  • Exodus Bar

    • Kaarlenkatu 10
    • 00530 Helsinki

This reggae bar is a neighborhood mainstay, but seats are limited to a few benches and tables surrounding the bar, so it tends to fill up quickly. The small, smoky dive has a great selection of cheap beers with an eclectic collection of painting and graffiti covering the yellow and green walls. Even if you just stop by, this rasta-themed bar is worth a look.

  • Bar Kuudes Linja

Make sure to walk around to the courtyard entrance at Kaikukatu 4 to enter this bar, as the front entrance is rarely open. Kuudes Linja offers live shows, so check their calendar to see what's on the bill before you head over. While the bar looks a bit dingy from the outside, inside this venue/night club is decked out with leather couches and chairs, with a red-lit, fully-stocked bar. Kuudes Linja is open from 10pm - 4am Wed and Fri-Sat, opening at 11pm Thursday.

  • Kallion Seurahuone
