Lollapalooza 2015

Lollapalooza 2014 via the festival

Chicago, Illinois -- One of the most well-known festivals in the country, Lollapalooza continues to draw thousands of festival attendees year after year. First launched in 1991 by Jane's Addiction lead singer Perry Farrell as an alternative rock touring festival with a single stage, Lolla now has a permanent home in Chicago's Grant Park, with satellite festivals in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Buenos Aires, Argetina; and Santiago, Chile.

Today, the festival spans 115 acres, boasting multiple stages and 130+ artists ranging from hip-hop acts to EDM DJs and indie rock newcomers. With myriad food and merchandise vendors and a green market complete with locally grown, farm-to-table treats, Lollapalooza has come a long way from its days as a grunge rock festival. Set against the breathtaking backdrop that is the Chicago skyline, Lolla is a must-attend fest.
