Outlook 2012

Party

Outlook keeps the party going each day and night of the festival, with beachside bars and boat parties during the day, and artists and DJs creating a rave atmosphere throughout the Fort Punta Christo ruins at night. But for the days leading up to the festival or immediately following, many of the surrounding cities and villages, especially those along the coast, have burgeoning nightlife scenes worth checking out. Pula is the nearest large city, and has an ample selection of lounges and bars, as well as dozens of clubs and discos, most of which are located around the city on the outskirts of the downtown area rather than within the downtown district itself.

  • Aruba Club

Pula's newest dance club, Aruba, has been attracting visitors from all over Istria, as well as international guest DJs and live acts. Every Wednesday is Dance Night, with a free dance course, free admission, and happy hour specials. However, Aruba's weekend parties are the real draw, with music ranging from rock to house.

  • Byblos Discotheque

    • Zelena Laguna BB
    • 52440 Porec, Croatia
    • +385 91 663 3312

This open-air nightclub in Porec consistently draws in big name guest DJs, including past acts David Guetta and Erick Morillo. As the largest nightclub in the region, Byblos brings in large crowds in a festival style environment and keeps the party going all night long. DJ Mag placed Byblos on their list of the World's Top 100 Clubs, so you can expect a good time.

  • Club Uljanik

Every Thursday night is Student Party at Club Uljanik, with DJs ranging in styles from RnB, House, Disco, and Rock to keep you dancing and singing along to your favorite hits. This club holds different events every night of the week and is known around the city of Pula for their more alternative crowd and live rock shows not typically found at the solely electronic discos ubiquitous to the area.

  • Monte Serpente

There are parties and events almost every night of the week at Monte Serpente, which is one of the largest discos in Pula. This nightclub has a large late-night crowd and many venture to this venue after the surrounding bars close as it tends to be open the latest.

  • Fort Bourguignon

    • 52100 Verudela, Croatia

This 19th century Austrian fortress is a unique setting for many open-air raves and multi-level techno discos throughout the summer months. With no set hours of operation or long-term list of events, you'll have to keep an eye out around Pula and Verudela for rave announcements or check rave forums and websites.
